ELEMENTARY SCIENCE

Basic scientific ideas are presented and explored by the student. The methods used in Science and History courses to teach are identical. Science should be done two times a week, and each semester will consist of multiple courses to be done in sequence. In example, the first semester consists of three courses, dealing with the ability to observe, to determine the difference between fact and opinion, and the nature of cause and effect, and more. These are bottom-line understandings one must have to start to learn modern science. The exercises are fun and creative, and keep the student active.

Later semesters cover specific areas of science such as Earth Sciences, Biology, and simple Physics and Astronomy.

Science IV - The Earth - Water & Air Science IV - The Earth - Water & Air

The first half of the course covers the Earth's waters - its oceans, lakes, rivers, underground waters, currents, hurricanes, tidal waves and tsunamis, and how these impact life and weather on our planet. Part two covers our atmosphere. What is air, how did it come to be. Weather is explored in detail.
